Dr. Prabhakar Reddy V is an accomplished researcher, eminent teacher in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Currently he is serving as Head/Principal at University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, Telangana State, India since November 2013. He did his B.Pharm from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UCPS), Kakatiya University, Warangal; M.Pharm from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UCPS), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam; Ph.D from University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UCPS), Kakatiya University, Warangal and Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) from Butler University, Indianapolis, Indiana, United States of America (USA). In addition, he has also received his LLB from Kakatiya University, Warangal.

Dr.Reddy has 28 h-index with more than 2200 citations, published two books, received two research grants, one patent, Editorial Board member in national and international Journals, reviewer in national and international journals. Dr.Reddy is a Resource Person for UGC, AICTE Sponsored Seminars; Expert Committee Member for Research Review Meetings and Evaluation of M.Pharm/Ph.D Thesis; Speaker/Poster Evaluator/Chairman for local, regional, national and international conferences.
Dr.Reddy has an extensive research experience in Nanoparticles, Solid Lipid Nanoparticles, Sublingual Tablets, Fast Disintegrating Tablets, Solid Dispersions, Mouth Dissolving Tablets, Sustained Release Systems, Controlled Release Systems, Transdermal, Colon Specific and Gastro retentive drug delivery systems. He has delivered more than 80 invited talks on drug delivery systems. He is a visiting professor in Kathmandu University, Nepal. He has attended many symposiums and workshops at the national and international level. He has more than 80 research publications in several international and national journals, and guided 150 M. Pharm and 8 PhD students.
Dr.Reddy has extensively travelled to USA, Germany, Switzerland, Rome, Canada, France, Egypt, Dubai, Thailand, China, Nepal, Turkey and Portugal. He has Life memberships in Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association (IPGA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Fellow of the Institution of Chemists (India), Ex-Member in Board of Studies, Kakatiya University and Palamuru University; Ex-General Secretary in Kakatiya University Alumni Association; Ex-President for Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Telangana State; President, Telangana Registered Pharmacist Association (TRPhA); Secretary for Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA), Telangana State and Central Council Member-Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
